1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Decker, a product of CerebrixOS operated by Ockham Labs Inc. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Decker is an AI-powered presentation generation platform that allows users to create professional presentations using artificial intelligence. The service includes:

  • AI-powered slide generation from text descriptions
  • Deep research mode for data-driven presentations
  • Slide editing and customization
  • Export functionality (PDF, images)
  • Expert In Loop services for human-assisted projects

3. Account Registration

To use our services, you must:

  • Create an account using Google or LinkedIn OAuth
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Keep your account credentials secure

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Billing Model

Decker uses a pay-per-slide billing model:

  • You are charged for each slide generated
  • Free tier includes limited deck generations per month
  • Prepaid balance can be added via credit card (processed by Stripe)
  • Deep Research mode incurs additional per-slide charges

4.2 Refunds

Unused prepaid balance may be refunded upon request. No refunds are provided for slides that have been successfully generated.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use our services to:

  • Create content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on others' rights
  • Generate misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent content
  • Attempt to circumvent billing or security measures
  • Reverse engineer or copy our AI technology
  • Use automated systems to access the service without permission
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or our staff

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create using our services. By using Decker, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

6.2 Our Technology

The Decker platform, including its AI models, algorithms, user interface, and underlying technology, is the exclusive property of Ockham Labs Inc. and is protected by intellectual property laws.

7. AI-Generated Content

You acknowledge that:

  • Content generated by AI may not be completely accurate
  • You are responsible for reviewing and verifying generated content
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI outputs
  • AI-generated content should not be used for critical decisions without human review

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may:

  • Perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
  • Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
  • Suspend accounts that violate these terms

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • Our services are provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ockham Labs Inc. from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination:

  • Your access to the service will be revoked
  • Your content may be deleted after a grace period
  • Unused prepaid balance may be refunded at our discretion

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada. Ockham Labs Inc. is a Canadian corporation based in Toronto, Ontario.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
